Dino Paravano was born in Italy and resided in South Africa from 1947. He studied at the Johannesburg Art School and has had many solo and group exhibitions. He paints wildlife, landscapes, seascapes, still lives and figures, in oils, acrylics, watercolour, pastel and pencil.
